Beloved Brethren,
We, at the Regional Grand Lodge of Southern India, are delighted to host the Grand Festival 2024 of the Grand Lodge of India in Chennai on 7th and 8th December, 2024. We sincerely thank Most Worshipful the Grand Master, M.W. Bro. Anish Kumar Sharma, OSM for giving us this opportunity.
Generally, each Region gets an opportunity to host the Grand Festival once in four years. We had that opportunity last year at Hyderabad during November, 2023.Another opportunity to host Grand Festival has arisen because Southern Region is bestowed with a Grand Master Elect after 12 years.
We are immensely happy that R W Bro. G K Selvarajan, OSM, the Grand Master Elect has chosen to be Installed as the Grand Master of the GLI in the city of Chennai. With the guidance of the steering committee encompassing the Grand Lodge Officers and with the active patronage of R.W.Bro. Sanjiv Gandhi, RW the Regional Grand Master of RGLNI, R.W.Bro.Pervez S Kaikobad, RW the Regional Grand Master of the RGLEI and R.W.Bro.Subhas Saraf, RW the Regional Grand Master of RGLWI, we expect large participation of Brethren from all the four Regions.
With R W Bro. T.N. Mohanakrishnan and R.W. Bro. Pratap Karan Paul as Co-Chairmen; R.W.Bro. T.S. Muralidharan and R W Bro.V. Sivakumar as the Secretaries of the organizing committee, W.Bro. R. Radhakrishnan as the Treasurer, the Chairmen and members of various committees of the Organising Committee, duly supported by the ARGMs and other active officers of the RGLSI, are endeavoring to make the Grand Festival 2024 a memorable experience for all of us.
Many of our illustrious Past Grand Masters of GLI and Past Regional Grand Masters of the RGLSI and other Regions will grace the occasion. The presence of Grand Masters and/or their representatives from Grand Lodges of different countries will add to the grandeur of the occasion.
We, along with Chennai Brethren, are eager to welcome you to our city to participate and make this Grand Festival a grand success and a milestone event in the annals of the Grand Lodge of India.
